My Most Viewed Photo: Underground lake and waterfall, Wookey Cave

This is my most viewed photograph on flickr, and I have no idea why. It’s getting about 150 hits per day, and so far has been viewed over 11,000 times! The next closest is one of my phtos of David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel with about 4500 views.

Underground lake and waterfall, Wookey Cave

I took this photo during a trip to Glastonbury, when we had a little day out to Wookey Cave in Somerset. So, why is it so popular? Has it been blogged and linked somewhere? Are there just a lot of underground lake, waterfall and cave aficionados out there? If so, Hello underground lake, waterfall and cave aficionados! I’d love for you to tell me why it’s so popular.

Hmmm… Maybe I should offer it for sale as a print?

  1. It’s an alright photo, but I suspect it probably appears in some kids school projects, which is why it’s so popular. So you can be happy in the knowledge that your trip to Glastonbury is now stimulating the minds of the young!

  2. So how did you find it? Just curious…

  3. I was looking at caving blogs and it threw yours up.
    The wonders of google!

  4. Ha Ha, cool! Thanks for letting me know. :)
